In collaboration with several Northeast US Makerspaces, Small Business Incubators and Non-Profit Community Organizations

SMALL BUSINESS INCUBATOR

Accelerate the start-up and expansion of local small businesses. The program provides guidance and consulting to make sure those start-up and expanding firms have the tools necessary to succeed. Services include legal consultation, business planning, and marketing classes, while shared office space allows for low-overhead and access to relationship-building and networking opportunities.

MAKERSPACE

A Makerspace is a community center with tools. They are the foundation of a world-wide "maker movement" where workers, inventors, hobbyists, tinkerers, artisans, makers, hackers, designers, students, teachers and do-it-yourselfers can collaborate on a wide range of projects.

COMMUNITY

Collaborate with organizations and individuals to develop resident-led initiatives for the improvement of our neighborhoods through community organizing and development. This includes neighborhood beautification; creating garden and small farm plots, arranging for demolition of dilapidated structures, and other revitalization efforts.

BUILD

Workshops for 3D printing, electronics, metalworking, woodworking, aquaponics, organic agriculture and composting, sewing, and many others. Members and residents are able to use any equipment they are qualified to operate at minimal cost.

SHARE

We support start-up businesses in the incubator that cannot afford to own and maintain expensive, but essential, equipment. Interested and motivated people can utilize the available tools and equipment to cooperate, collaborate, innovate, and make.
