Tracking Hurricane Irma and Jose Outlook for Sept 9, 2017

Right on the tail-end of Harvey, The National Hurricane Center began to monitor a tropical wave storm over the western coast of Africa (Cape Verde) as of Sat., Aug. 26th, 2017.

Now, well over a week later, Hurricane Irma has now formed into a category 5 hurricane, with winds up to 180 miles per hour. This makes Hurricane Irma one of the strongest storms in the Atlantic within the past decade, and could make potential impact in places such as the Caribbean, Florida, The Carolinas, Georgia, Puerto Rico, and many other potential places… Tropical Storm Jose trailing not too far behind.

In fact, Florida and Puerto Rico have already declared a state of emergency, and the U.S. Virgin Islands are ready to deploy the U.S. National Guard. And it’s not just hurricanes to watch out for — a state of emergency has also been declared in California due to the record wildfires affecting much of the Western U.S. in places such as California, Idaho, Oregon, and Montana… Speaking of Oregon, their National Guard has also been called to “combat” the wildfires, and mind you, Texas Governor Greg Abbott had already declared a state of emergency for up to 30 counties affected by Harvey, along with Trump declaring a state emergency for Louisiana due to unprecedented flooding — with rainfall totaling well over a record of 50 inches.

When we also consider record monsoons in places such as India, Bangladesh, and Nepal that’s affecting up to over 40 MILLION people, record mudslides in Sierra Leone, and even shaky grounds in the Yellowstone region — one has to wonder what’s REALLY going on…
